In November of 2023, The Country Cheese Shop was acquired by The Rustic Board. When the previous owner, Tammy was ready to hang up her cheese apron, in order to explore a new chapter in her life, she entrusted her beloved cheese shop to someone who she knew shared the same passion for all things, cheese!
The Rustic Board, a beloved small business in Durham Region, has been crafting artisanal charcuterie boards for the past few years, with an unwavering dedication to quality and creativity. So when the opportunity to acquire the Cheese Shop presented itself, the synergy of both businesses coming together meant combining the best of both worlds to create a match made in cheese heaven!
As a former customer of The Country Cheese Co., we truly value the relationships it has fostered during it’s 12 years within this community. We are so excited to further elevate your cheese & charcuterie experience. With that in mind, we are delighted to officially unveil the re-brand of the storefront, as well as a new website, offering online shopping, which will showcase our products, including a featured cheese of the month, special offers, and boards for every occasion.

This is our way of showing our appreciation to our loyal cheese loving customers, thank you for supporting our growing business! If you already have loyalty points from Country Cheese Co.
